OECD – Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development

The OECD is a forum in which the governments of 38 countries (most of them industrialized nations) work together to meet the challenges related to globalization in the areas of economy, society, environment and governance and take advantage of the associated opportunities. The OECD’s stated goals are to contribute to optimal economic development and a rising standard of living in its member countries, to promote economic growth in its member countries and in developing countries, and to facilitate the expansion of international trade.
